Levels 15-17 of the Model describe relations of the subjects of study from theist religions to abstract metaphysics. This is the last triad and the end of the Model.
Level 15: Source and Plenum
Source ⇒ Plenum
The Cosmos, in which we live, had, has, and will have a source from which it developed, develops, and will develop. This means that the Source of the Cosmos is concurrent with the Cosmos. The Source of the Cosmos is the “consciousness” of the Cosmos, whereas the Cosmos is the “body.” The Source and center of Cosmos is God. This God must be the subject of scientific study, but currently the concept of God is only presented as ossified (and petrified) in religious studies. We must take this major concept away from religions and make it into a scientific concept. We need to grow to experience God in many more ways than simply studying God from religious texts. The Sources of Cosmos exist in a medium called differently by different individuals. In The Urantia Book, it is the Spirit, or spiritual substance. In modern cosmology, it is called dark energy.
Dark energy is a hypothesis, which is lead by Dr. Lawrence Krauss, that 75% of the energy of the universe is invisible and is contained in cosmic vacuum (like voids and supervoids). Yet, Krauss, although in the tradition of Einstein, calls this essence “nothing” because we cannot see it nor can we detect it with any of our sensors. This energy is crucial for there to be dark matter (discussed in the previous post) as well as all other matter in the universe. This energy exists. For this reason, a better concept than cosmic vacuum (empty space) is plenum (filled space), as supported by another physicist, Nassim Haramein. While Krauss has won the favor of the scientific community, Haramein is considered by the fundamental scientists to be somewhere outside, as on a fringe. Krauss shows how the Big Bang started from nothing, whereas Haramein shows, by extending Einstein’s field equations, that vacuum is holofractographically structured and hence the Big Bang came from a singularity that continues to exist in this plenum. I visualize the attractors and holes as branching points stemming from the singularity like in a lightning.
Another promising theory is concerned with the biggest supervoid ever found: Eridanus Supervoid. The “void” spans one billion light years of pure dark energy. Laura Mersini-Houghton postulates that such supervoids may be evidence that our universe could simply be “a wave function on the landscape universe.” If this were the case, then these areas can be ways of entering other universes. But in this regard, I conjecture that more than one singularity (including anti-singularities) would be necessary. And this then goes beyond even the Big Bang theory and back into another “fringe” area of science called plasma cosmology. Nonetheless, limited by the frequency of our consciousness, we are currently unable to perceive entangled electromagnetic fields moving faster than the speed of light.
Level 16: Multiverse and Ratium
Multiverse ⇒ Ratium
Now we are getting into even more conceptual content. To compare Source of Cosmos with Multiverse is like comparing God the Supreme and God the Ultimate from The Urantia Book. Even though there are many theories of different multiverses, none touch upon the contexts of such entities, so I had to invent a new concept: Ratium. Ratium is a virtual space where second-order motions occur. While the motions of Sources (yes, there are multiple ones) are predictable or unpredictable, orderly or chaotic, circular or edged, the second-order motion is rational or irrational, that is, going toward or away from local Source. Rational and irrational motions can be visualized as contracting and expanding spirals, respectively. Multiverse itself would be a unity of other universes, made of heterogeneous matter (i.e., beyond matter and anti-matter), with the center being a two-or-more-genera Source in Ratium. Provided the harmony of motions in Ratium, Multiverse evolves onto something even greater. When particularly arranged multiverses unite, an omniverse, or its particular meta-level, is born.
Level 17: Omniverse and Limits
Omniverse ⇒ Limits
“God the Supreme, God the Ultimate, and God the Absolute are actualizing Deity personalities of the post-Havona epochs in the time-space and the time-space-transcended spheres of master universe evolutionary expansion. These actualizing Deity personalities are future eternals from the time when, and as, they power-personalize in the growing universes by the technique of the experiential actualization of the associative-creative potentials of the eternal Paradise Deities” (The Urantia Book, p. 22, original emphasis). Based on this information, Jesus (Michael incarnate) helped God the Supreme shift toward God the Ultimate.
Supreme, Ultimate, and Absolute correlate with levels 15-17 in my Model — Source, Multiverse, and Omniverse. By the calculations of the string theory, the most promising “theory of everything,” (an) omniverse contains 10500 universes of varying sets of physical laws (i.e., physical constants). Omniverse is God the Absolute, the last stage of evolution. It exists within Limits, space without time (another concept I had to invent, following the laws of this Model). Limits are the absolutely filled space with solid multidimensional matter that puts pressure upon all the universes and may convert them into frozen states once consumed. If you want a simpler picture, Limits are like Swiss cheese with holes being lakes of plenums. But this metaphor is also not enough. There is an inner in addition to an outer boundary. Ratiums adjoin the outer and innermost surfaces of Limits in two layers: on the surface of the inner and inside the outer boundaries of Existence. The inner boundary contains Nonexistence, the “source” of Limits, which are its “body.” Visualize it more abstractly with the following illustration, in which color is absolute everything (containing Limits and Ratiums), black are the boundaries, and white is absolute nothing (with Nonexistence at the center):
An alternative image, with its inverse being true as well, is:
While multiverses are only connected to a single boundary, omniverses are connected to both, thus making a single complete meta-level of existence. As omniverses grow, they push the boundaries like pistons, increasing the maximums of existence, and at the same time start at a new meta-level, since the inner boundary is the outer and the outer boundary is the inner. While meta-leveling, their motions are existing (branching or conjoining) or nonexisting, while cut off from the stem of a meta-level and lost in Limits.
Metaphysics of APEIRON
Now we have covered the entire Model. We started from Nonexistence, a meaningless state and the context of Existence within and prior to Existence. We ended with Existence. But together they are eternal and unbounded and their exact center is the center of APEIRON, our reality. The farther we go from our reality, whether in the materialist direction toward Nonexistence, as Kant did, or in the mystic direction toward Existence, as Aristotle did, whenever we get too far in our journeys, we realize that what we know is incomplete and the farther we tread from our reality, the less we know. But it should never be forgotten that just as our knowledge grows, so our reality and elements of the Model change. It also needs to be remembered that we never truly reach APEIRON, the unlimited state of Nonexistence and Existence, “perspective” and “consciousness,” absolute nothing and absolute everything, the state of an uninvolved awareness. Whenever we look at the Model, we should not look at the entire Model but look somewhere inside of it and find ourselves.
Don’t confuse this with the logic of levels. The boundaries are metaphysical, not epistemological. Showing everything as concentric circles would be an oversimplification and simply wrong.
Note that, as APEIRON, their Object(part)–Context(whole) boundaries match, thus making a continuum in the process, which is the Model. This will be more rigorously discussed in the following post.
See the Complete Reality Hypothesis (CRH) from the Philosophical context posts, starting with Part I. It’s a visual method of analyzing and categorizing other philosophies. The CRH diagram covers the Model, its multi-level base, and can be made more nuanced to include more philosophers than were sufficiently covered in my original analysis.
